About: I am a Senior Research Assistant at the Bacteriology Department of the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and an MPhil student at the University of Ghana, Legon, studying Molecular Cell Biology of Infectious Diseases. My research is centered on Antimicrobial Resistance in bacteria and fungi specifically isolating and identifying them, conducting antimicrobial susceptibility testing and extracting their genomic DNA for whole genome sequencing to better understand these resistance bugs.
