HSR 2024, Eighth Global Symposium, Health System research
Save the date: November 18-22, 2024

Join the 8th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research in Nagasaki, Japan, from November 18 to November 22, 2024. Experts will explore the theme "Building Just & Sustainable Health Systems: Centring People and Protecting the Planet." One of the symposium's focus will be on "Stewardship of digital transformations, including AI and big data."

As the healthcare landscape evolves, technology's role in health systems becomes increasingly significant. The accelerating rate of digital transformation, including advancements in AI and big data, presents both opportunities and challenges. Submissions on empirical and normative aspects of governing digital technologies in health systems are welcome at HSR 2024. Aiming to formulate regional, national, or sub-national digital health strategies to support health system and population health improvement. Furthermore, it seeks insights into the institutional frameworks and regulatory infrastructure necessary to manage the interests of a rapidly changing information technology sector while ensuring social accountability and trust amidst transformative change.

With a commitment to advancing  just and sustainable health systems, HSR 2024 provides a platform for scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to exchange knowledge, insights, and best practices.
