Evangelia Baka
Dr. Evangelia Baka is a multidisciplinary scientist and researcher, focusing on the intersection of Human – AI interaction, digital health, neuroscience and ethics. Prior to joining HealthAI as a post-doctoral researcher, she completed her Ph.D. at the University of Geneva, where she currently holds the position of Lecturer. She also worked as a visiting researcher at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and the Cyprus University of Technology where she gained a broad experience in Human – AI interaction and its applications. Dr. Baka holds an MSc in Brain and Mind Sciences from the Medical School of the University of Crete and a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the National Technical University of Athens. She also holds a BA in Dance and a professional Diploma in Music and Piano performance. Currently, as the Responsible AI Manager at Health AI, she is managing the IDRC project on responsible and gender responsive AI for health in LMICs.

Peiling Yap
Dr. Yap is HealthAI's Chief Scientist, where she is currently co-steering the scientific and technical direction of HealthAI. She works with partners across the world on research topics such as pandemic preparedness and response, open health, antimicrobial resistance, and maternal and child health. Her recent research focuses on using mixed methodology in implementing and evaluating both analogue and digital public health interventions. Before joining HealthAI, Dr. Yap worked as a Senior Epidemiologist at the National Center for Infectious Diseases in Singapore and as an Epidemiologist at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, where she also earned her PhD in Epidemiology.

Devina Srivastava
Devina is passionate about reducing the systemic exclusion from basic rights amongst vulnerable and underserved populations in the world. She has worked extensively at the intersection of gender, inclusion and digital development. She is a development practitioner with experience with non-profits, research institutes, multilateral organisations and funding organisations, using behavioural science, human-centered design, and technology to design inclusive programmes that enable all populations, especially those marginalised, access human rights. Through her career, she has applied rights-based approaches in results-based management, programme design and implementation, gender and inclusion capacity development, monitoring and evaluation, and research.
